Receive your COVID-19 vaccine at AFC Urgent Care New Bedford. We are following all of the state and local government regulations for distribution of the vaccine. Refer to the Phase list below or our homepage to see if you qualify for the current phase.

If you are eligible to get the vaccine, please use the registration button above to schedule an appointment. Please check back frequently if there are no appointments available, as cancellations do happen. Please do not call our center to schedule an appointment.
Massachusetts COVID Phases:
(December 2020 – February 2021)
- All healthcare workers
- Clinical & non-clinical workers in direct & COVID-facing care
- Non-COVID-facing care workers
- Home healthcare workers
- First responders
- Long-term care facilities
- Rest home staff
- Assistant living staff
- Congregate Care
Listed in order of priority:
- Individuals age 75 and older
- Individuals age 65+, individuals with 2+ certain medical conditions, and/or residents and staff of low income and affordable senior housing.
- Other workers, including:
- Frontline workers
- Restaurant workers
- Retail, foodservice, and agriculture workers
- Public health workers
- Vaccine development workers
- Food pantry workers and volunteers
- Transit/transportation workers
- Convenience store workers
- Water and wastewater utility staff
- Court system workers
- Medical supply chain workers
- Funeral workers
- Shipping port and terminal workers
- Individuals with one certain medical condition
The vaccine is expected to be available to the general public in April 2021. This includes all workers and individuals not listed in the phases above.

Q. When is the vaccine coming?
A. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines were approved for distribution in late 2020. Due to limited quantity, the state of Massachusetts is distributing the vaccine in phases. Check Mass.gov or the list above to see if you are eligible.
Q. Who is eligible for the vaccine?
A. Currently, healthcare workers, first responders, and those 75 & older are eligible for the vaccine. Check the list above to see when you are eligible to receive the vaccine.
Q. What are the policies for seniors?
A. Those above 75 years of age are currently eligible for the vaccine.
Q. Is the vaccine safe?
A. Vaccines are the safest way to avoid preventable illnesses. With COVID, the vaccine will protect you and others around you. Be sure to consult with a medical provider to receive accurate information about the vaccine.
